Visit by a delegation of the SAI of Brazil

On 2 May 2023, a delegation of the Supreme Audit Institution (SAI) of Brazil visited the INTOSAI General Secretariat. INTOSAI Secretary General Dr. Margit Kraker welcomed the chair of INTOSAI, Minister Bruno Dantas.

The main topics discussed in the framework of the visit were the priorities of the SAI of Brazil as INTOSAI Chair and the cooperation with the INTOSAI General Secretariat in this regard. In concrete, the topics discussed included the next meeting of the Supervisory Committee on Emerging Issues, cooperation between INTOSAI and the United Nations, the progress of the work of the Task Force INTOSAI Communication, the preparations for the next meeting of the INTOSAI Governing Board, which will take place in November this year, and the coordination of meetings for the years 2023 and 2024.

Furthermore, Minister Bruno Dantas was invited by Secretary General Dr. Margit Kraker to speak at the festive event in the Austrian parliament on the occasion of INTOSAI's 70th anniversary in Vienna in November 2023.
